Marine Corps Memorial Iwo Jima Statue- One of the largest bronze statues ever cast, this memorial commemorates all the marines who have died in battle since 1775. The 32-foot high figures are shown erecting a 60-foot bronze flagpole from which a cloth flag flies 24 hours a day. Located just outside the city in Arlington

Arlington National Cemetery – More than 285,000 men and women who served our country are buried here, along with presidents, members of the Supreme Court and other honorees. One of the most famous sights is the changing of the guard at The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Located just outside the city limits in Virginia.
